Automation Engineer

Overview We are seeking a Freelance Automation Engineer to help design, build, and optimize automated workflows across our business operations. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in process automation, system integration, and low-code/no-code tools, with the ability to deliver fast, reliable solutions on a project basis. Responsibilities - Analyze existing business processes and identify automation opportunities. - Design and develop automated workflows using tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or custom scripts. - Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party platforms to create seamless end-to-end automation. - Build custom logic or function scripts (JavaScript/Python) when needed. - Test, debug, and optimize automation for performance and reliability. - Provide documentation and handover to internal teams. - Offer ongoing support or improvements (optional based on project scope). Requirements - Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or Integration Specialist. - Strong knowledge of n8n or similar workflow automation platforms. - Ability to work with REST APIs, Webhooks, OAuth2, and JSON data. - Basic to intermediate coding skills (JavaScript or Python preferred). - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. - Clear communication and ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.

Objectives: Automate the collection and consolidation of social media data from multiple platforms into a single, reliable reporting system. Key Tasks: - Integrate APIs from Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others. - Automate data fetching on schedules using n8n or similar tools. - Normalize and clean data for consistent reporting. - Store results in Google Sheets, Airtable, or databases. - Build dashboards for performance insights. - Set up optional alerts for significant changes. Deliverables: - End-to-end automated data pipeline - Documentation and workflow setup - Centralized dataset and dashboard (optional) Outcome: - Faster reporting, unified metrics, and improved visibility into social media performance.
